Along with other massive Mario game series, Nintendo will be releasing “Paper Mario” in response to the celebration of the plump plumber's 35th anniversary.
Unfortunately, there is no set date or confirmation on when the game will be released indicating from their website, however it’s said to be released this year.
In the debut of the other remastered Super Mario games, “Paper Mario” will be one of the new issues available for the Nintendo Switch. Additionally, the 3D World would most likely get its own separate Deluxe-style release, and the older 3D Mario games come in single compilations. Nevertheless, it’s likely that Nintendo will be releasing them individually as they did with its Zelda remasters.
“For the remasters, our source is telling us that Nintendo is pursuing something like a Super Mario All-Stars 2 for the 3D Mario games,” Venturebeat staff writer Jeff Grub said. “This would include Super Mario 64, Super Mario Sunshine, and then Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario Galaxy 2.”
Furthermore, he had previously stated that there would be two Nintendo Direct presentations coming out on March 16, and that is exactly what happened. We’re all going to put his reliability into consideration.
Although, this all set off rumors and there is again, no confirmation from Nintendo themselves, they have no statement on the rumor either, until then we will wait for the official response from Nintendo.
