Elote


Mexican street corn, called elote, is a popular snack sold by vendors throughout Mexico and the streets of Anaheim. They’re fun and easy to make with only a few ingredients.



Ingredients:

  • 1 Corn (dehusked)

  • 2 tbsp Mayonnaise

  • Container of crumbed or fine Parmesan Cheese or Cotija

  • Tapatio (optional)

  • Chili Powder (optional)

  • Butter (optional)


Instructions:

Step One - Boil the corn in a pot for 5 to 7 minutes.

Step Two - Take corn out and dry with a napkin. (Keep in mind it’s hot!)

Step Three - Lather the corn with mayonnaise, optional to use butter before the mayonnaise.

Step Four - Sprinkle on parmesan cheese to your liking, or use a more traditional cheese called cotija.

Step Five - You can also put Tapatio, or any of your favorite hot sauces. It is also very common to use chili powder for an extra kick. Make sure to evenly coat the corn.

Step Six - Enjoy with napkins on standby. (It can get messy!)



Oreo Milkshake (Makes two servings)


This recipe is super simple and easy to make. With only two steps and a few ingredients, you can make your very own Oreo Milkshake for your friends & family to share in the comfort of your own home!


Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of cookies and cream ice cream

  • 3/4 cup of milk

  • 4 Oreos

  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract (Optional)

  • Whipped cream (Optional)

  • Chocolate syrup (Optional)

  • Maraschino cherry (Optional)


Instructions:

Step One - In a blender, combine the cookies & cream ice cream, vanilla extract, milk, and Oreos.

Step Two - Drizzle chocolate syrup around the inside of your cup. Pour into your cup of choice and garnish with whipped cream, Oreo crumbs, and a maraschino cherry. Enjoy!
