The Los Angeles Dodgers wasted no time in getting what they wanted most. An ice cold pitcher.
On Nov. 30, 2024 the Dodgers signed pitcher Blake Snell where the Dodgers have agreed to sign a five-year $182 million dollar contract.
Snell is a two time Cy Young award winner and was one of the top free-agent pitchers that was on the market this 2024 season.
Snell was previously in a two-year, $62 million deal agreement with the San Francisco Giants which now led him to Los Angeles.
“.. And when you look at a team, you look at what they’ve built, what they’re doing, it's just something you want to be a part of. Look at the first time hitters in the lineup. It’s tough to go against. So to be on the other side and know they are going to be hitting for me, it’s pretty exciting.” Snell said on ESPN.
Although the Dodgers did not have the strongest pitching lineup this season, due to many injuries, they had players like Mookie Betts, Freddie Freeman, and Tommy Edman to save the series.
Now that the Dodgers have got one of the most elite pitching lineups, they can potentially go back to back.
