On Oct. 28, 2024, American singer-songwriter and actress Olivia Rodrigo released her movie on Netflix of her concert that was held at the Intuit Dome arena in Inglewood, California.

After her first show in the Intuit Dome, many people suspected that her concert was being recorded after she held up a sign during her performance saying “Thank you for watching.”

This wasn’t a new thing for Rodrigo as she collaborated with Disney plus in the past to release a documentary of the making of her debut album Sour.

The film takes the audience behind the scenes of the beginning of her show and through the setlist, incorporating songs from her second and first album. The movie also includes her special guest performance with American singer-songwriter Chappell Roan to sing her hit “HOT TO GO."

In an interview with Vogue, Rodrigo talks about her experience with Netflix and how much recording the film was for her.

“Yeah I'm so grateful, I'm so grateful that Netflix wanted to do it with me,” Rodrigo said. “I just had so much fun doing these shows every night and so it's a beautiful thing for me to have this time capsule forever that I can show my kids.”

After doing 95 shows all over the world, fans who were gutted to not attend her concert are now allowed to experience her show through the film.
